A web site that has SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) is said to be a secure place to send personal information. This pertains to the web site's ability to protect your personal information such as credit card numbers.
How do you know that a site is secured?
First, most secured web sites will tell you that they are secured. However, it is important to check if the claim to be is true. The easiest way is to look for the "  " lock on your browser and make sure that it is closed as shown here. You can get details about the digital certificate that was issued and what company the digital certificate belongs to by double clicking on the "" on your browser window (usually found at the bottom).
Buyer Beware
As with any business you shop at the rule is "Buyer Beware". Shopping online is the same as shopping offline as far as this goes. A good rule of thumb is to see if the web site offers a contact method that is "offline" such as a phone number. That is not to say that those web stores without phone numbers are not legitiment - most are - but those with phone numbers seem to be more reputable as they are a real world business as well that believe that customer support/service is important.

However we take complaints very seriously. If a mall merchant fails to provide the service we do accept complaints by emailing us directly at support@miditech.com.
We have had NO complaints about our merchants thus far and that is what will happen the majority of the time. If an issue comes up we will list it here and also show the remedy that we followed through on with the merchant.
